Rachel has been a dynamic part of Capitol Debate for the past three years, working closely with families and playing a key role in training and developing our amazing camp staff. She brings a spark of fun to every camp session, turning even tongue-twisters and practice rounds into moments campers look forward to.

Originally from Cheyenne, WY, Rachel’s love for speech and debate started early — she competed at state and national levels in Original Oratory, Dramatic Interpretation, Congressional Debate, Humorous Interpretation, and Poetry, landing in the top 20 and 30 in the nation. In college, she competed in After Dinner Speaking, Informative Speaking, and Persuasive Speaking, all while earning her degree in Professional Studies and Special Needs Education.

At Capitol Debate, Rachel is all about making debate camps memorable — whether she’s helping families get connected, leading staff workshops, or bringing energy and laughter to every camp day. Her mission is simple: make debate fun, build confident speakers, and help kids discover just how powerful their voices can be!
